Curé of Ars CYO works hard to promote good sportsmanship and fair play. Sportsmanship is the backbone of the CYO experience. We affirm that the heart of CYO and the key to its success is found in the many volunteers who freely give of their time, energy, resources, and expertise. CYO continues to strongly maintain a commitment to Catholic values and excellence in sportsmanship.

Our successful program is designed to teach foundational skills in a friendly, fun-filled environment. This is a team session program starting in December for grade 1 – 3 (1 hour per grade.) This clinic is named in honor of David Grimner, a long time CYO coach, who passed way during the attacks of 9/11.

Team play for grades 4th through 12th. Travel league with games vs. other parishes. Games played October - January, team practices begin in September. 10 to 12 games per season with an additional tournament and potential for playoffs.

CYO provides spring league play for grades 5 - 8th for both girl’s softball and boy’s baseball. Curé of Ars will sponsor a team if there is an interest in having a team. Please contact us in January if you think there is a possibility for fielding a team.

Team play for grades 5th through 12th. Travel league with games vs. other parishes. Games played February - April, team practices begin in December. 10 to 12 games per season potential for playoffs.

Individual and relay events for grades 1 – 8. Approximately 4 Spring meets a season plus regional end of year meet at Mitchell Field.

This 4 week clinic is designed to give fourth graders an introduction to techniques prior the start of team play in 5th grade.

Held once a year, the 9:30 Mass is celebrated with CYO. Players and Coaches are asked to attend in uniform. After Mass, CYO sponsors a breakfast in Msgr. Leonard Hall for the entire Parish.

Annual basketball tournament for our 5th graders (boys and girls) inviting local parishes to participate. Games are held in Msgr. Leonard Hall.

Started several years ago as a fundraiser for the Haitian crisis, CYO is building a yearly tradition to have a celebration dinner in Msgr. Leonard Hall and to support a worthy cause.
